This sport has a long history. Much in older days, Most of Thailand people tried to learn Muay Thai to protect Thailand from persons who enters countries by force. Now, Muay Thai is known by the national sport in Thailand. Many people in Thailand love it.

A lot of people in Thailand try to learn Muay Thai since they were children. The reason why a lot of people in Thailand try to learn Muay Thai is almost the boys suffer from poverty. Their dream is to be a champion in Muay Thai because they can get big money. They train very hard to become a champion. They do their best to get better lives and a higher status in Thai society.

However, there is one problem in Thailand. It is to use Muay Thai as a gambling. To play a gambling in sports does not think good thing in Thailand. They do think to use a national sport as a gambling is so sad.
